The Board is permitted to divide the Province into zones. In establishing the zones in the Province the Board is required to consider historical prices throughout the Province and the factors which may explain differences in these prices, including transportation costs, volume of sales, storage costs, distribution costs and inventory rates. The pricing zones for motor fuels and heating fuels are not the same. The Base Zone for motor fuel is Zone 1 and the Base Zone for heating fuel is Zone 1ANE.
