IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION BY

TRADERS GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY

SEEKING REVISIONS  

TO ITS PRIVATE PASSENGER

AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE RATING PROGRAM

 

 

 

 

WHEREAS by application received April 13, 2000, Traders General Insurance Company applied to the Board to amend its private passenger automobile insurance rating program by adopting the benchmark differentials for its Class 05 and Class 06 occasional operators, and for approval of a six star protection enhancement to its automobile insurance policy, and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the proposed changes and has found that they should be approved as filed.   


IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED THAT:

 

Approval be and it is hereby granted Traders General Insurance Company for the adoption of the benchmark differentials for its Class 05 and Class 06 underage operator classifications, and for the introduction of a six star protector enhancement to its private passenger automobile insurance policy at a charge of $20 per eligible vehicle and $20 per eligible occasional, underage operator, effective June 1, 2000 for new business and July 1, 2000 for renewals.
